Tantrum opened in Cole Valley, in 2012 within San Francisco CA. The store has moved to the Inner Richmond neighborhood in California and is owned by Amanda and Richard Weld. Amanda was an illustration major and opened her first store in 2001. She does all the buying and designing for the store. Richard is a musician and is the usually the first (bearded) face that greets you within the store. He is also in charge of shipping and usually delivers right to your door, in person.

Amanda and Richard live in San Francisco with their two kids and a few cats.
