Swallow Bird Necklace

For sailors, swallows were a symbol of returning home safely and reaching land. Sailors would often get swallow tattoos to mark a specific distance traveled or a safe return. This graceful gold swallow bird necklace is made from an American vintage mold dating to the 50's. It hangs on 18" drawn cable chain and is made of 14k gold plated brass. Designed and assembled in Amano Studio's Sonoma California studio.
